Wearing an automatic or hybrid PFD (Personal Flotation Device) is mandatory.
Fully manual PFDs are not allowed.
A hybrid PFD combines foam with an inflatable chamber, which can be activated manually or automatically.

Requirements :
Only live fish are eligible for submission
Mouth must be closed
Fish must be placed on the measuring board with the head to the left and the dorsal fin facing up.
Lower jaw must be touching the bump plate.
Minimum length: 12 inches (for 5-fish tournaments)

Identification code and TBF ID must be clearly visible in the photo.
The kayak must be visible in the photo and on the water (not on a trailer).
The hand must not cover the eye, enter the gills, or touch the tail.

It is strictly forbidden to drag a lure or bait behind a moving kayak.
Casting and retrieving must be done while the kayak is either stationary, drifting naturally (due to wind or current), or anchored (e.g., with Spot-Lock).

More than 10 minutes late: disqualification
Equipment failure = not a valid excuse

Only safety emergencies (capsizing/injury) may be considered, provided they are reported immediately.

No substitutions allowed once a replacement has been designated.

Important Reminder
Tournament Director Steve Peloquin reserves the right to override the posted rules if a change has been communicated in advance, whether through Facebook Live, email, a Facebook post, or any other official means of communication.
Any situation will be evaluated at the complete discretion of the tournament judges, whose decisions are final.

Hourly Big Fish Bonus
At the end of each hour, the angler who submits the longest fish caught within that hour wins 100 $.
Fish must be submitted before the hour cutoff to count for that period.
In the case of a tie, the earliest submission wins.
